This was perhaps the best photography workshop I have done. Ettiene’s for settings on the camera, through to composition have proved invaluable. And the tour itself was wonderful, exploring the beautiful streets of Hoi An with the colourful buildings and wonderful people. If you are in Hoi An and love taking pictures, this is the tour for you.

I was guided by Etienne on a morning photography tour around Hoi An Old Town. He took the time to re-acquaint me with working with my camera off auto and was very patient with me. I learnt so much, particularly about perspective and sitting to wait for photo opportunities. I took some great shots but even more importantly felt excited to be taking photos again after a few years break. Hope to take another tour again!

Taking photos around Hoi An in the early morning was a great experience. Etienne clearly loves this beautiful town and showed a lot of passion showing it to others.
During the workshop, I was challenged to improve my photography skills by making better use of the light and how to be ready to take a shot at the best/right moment to get an interesting photo.
