About me

I  graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1996 and went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine in 1999 from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, also located in Portland, Oregon. In addition to treating the body with spinal mauipulation and acupuncture needles, I continue to treat soft tissue injuries with the deep tissue methods I practiced as a licensed massage therapist. My primary approach focuses on optimizing health and preventing disease with safe, natural methods as long as the body responds. My experience includes over 10 years practicing at a busy multi-disciplinary clinic where I focused on treating auto and work related injuries in conjunction with a naturopathic physician, physical therapist, and a medical physician. My interests outside of work include my family and riding my beloved horse through the Pacific Northwest.
